O’Hare Taxi Chicago LLC

Terms of Use

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. These Terms govern use of the O’Hare Taxi Chicago website, booking channels, and transportation services. By using the website, submitting or confirming a reservation, or accepting transportation services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and O’Hare Taxi Chicago LLC (“O’Hare Taxi Chicago,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to your access to and use of our website, online booking pages, reservation communications, and transportation services (collectively, the “Services”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

If you make a reservation for another passenger or for a group, you represent that you are authorized to do so and agree to provide these Terms and all trip instructions to each passenger. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the reservation information and for charges associated with the reservation.

2. Eligibility and Passenger Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to make a reservation. Unaccompanied transportation of a minor requires prior written approval from O’Hare Taxi Chicago. A parent, guardian, or responsible adult must supervise minors and confirm before travel that each child is properly secured as required by applicable law.

You agree to provide complete and accurate contact, passenger, flight, pickup, drop-off, accessibility, child-seat, and luggage information and to keep that information current through completion of the trip.

3. Reservations and Service Fulfillment

A reservation request is not confirmed until O’Hare Taxi Chicago or its booking platform sends an electronic or written confirmation. A confirmation applies only to the itinerary, passenger count, vehicle category, date, time, and services shown in that confirmation. Requests and changes remain subject to availability.

O’Hare Taxi Chicago may fulfill Services through employees, independent contractors, or qualified third-party transportation providers. Unless a specific vehicle is confirmed in writing, we may substitute a vehicle of comparable or greater passenger capacity when reasonably necessary. Vehicle make, model, color, and amenities are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

The Services are not emergency, ambulance, medical, or non-emergency medical transportation. If a passenger requires emergency assistance or medical monitoring, call 911 or use an appropriately licensed provider.

4. Rates, Payment, and Card Authorization

The quoted fare covers the confirmed itinerary and standard service described in the reservation confirmation. Add-on services, itinerary changes, wait time, additional stops, parking, tolls, airport or regulatory charges, and other amounts allowed by these Terms may result in additional charges.

By providing a payment method, you authorize O’Hare Taxi Chicago and its payment processor to charge that method for the confirmed fare and for other amounts properly due under these Terms, including applicable cancellation, no-show, wait-time, cleaning, damage, parking, toll, extra-stop, delivery, and service charges. Charges will be assessed only where applicable to the reservation or passenger conduct. Payment-card information may be processed and stored by a third-party payment provider under its own terms and privacy practices.

Gratuities are voluntary unless a gratuity is expressly disclosed in the reservation. Any voluntary tip is separate from the fare and is intended for the driver. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us promptly so that we can review it; nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable billing rights available under applicable law.

5. Trip Changes, Flight Information, and Communications

Trip changes are not effective until acknowledged by O’Hare Taxi Chicago. Changes to the date, pickup time, address, route, stops, passenger count, luggage, flight, or requested vehicle or equipment may affect availability, dispatch, and price.

When flight information is provided, flight monitoring may be used as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed to identify every delay, cancellation, diversion, terminal change, or schedule change. The customer remains responsible for communicating updated information and following pickup instructions.

By providing a telephone number or email address, you agree to receive transactional communications reasonably related to a reservation, including confirmations, driver details, pickup instructions, delay notices, receipts, and service follow-up. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing communications, where used, will be requested separately when required by law.

6. Accessibility and Service Animals

O’Hare Taxi Chicago will make reasonable efforts to accommodate passengers with disabilities and asks customers to provide advance notice of mobility devices, assistance needs, or vehicle requirements when advance notice is reasonably necessary to arrange the appropriate vehicle or assistance.

Service animals assisting a person with a disability are permitted as required by applicable law and will not be subject to an additional fee solely because they are service animals. Pets that are not service animals require advance approval and may be subject to reasonable conditions. Customers may remain responsible for actual damage caused by an animal where permitted by law.

7. Transportation Policies

The following transportation policies are incorporated into and form part of these Terms.

Billing

Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time will not be charged. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup time may be subject to a charge of up to 50% of the quoted fare. Cancellations made within 1 hour of the scheduled pickup time, or after the driver has been dispatched, may be charged up to 100% of the quoted fare. No-shows are charged at 100% of the reserved trip amount.

Car Seats

Child seats are available upon request and must be requested at the time of booking. Availability is not guaranteed unless confirmed in advance. The customer is responsible for selecting the appropriate child seat type for the child’s age, height, and weight. O’Hare Taxi Chicago is not responsible for incorrect child seat selection based on incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the customer.

Cleaning

If a vehicle requires unusual cleaning due to spills, food mess, bodily fluids, excessive dirt, strong odors, or other passenger-related conditions, a cleaning fee may be charged to the card on file. The amount will depend on the severity of the condition and the time the vehicle is removed from service.

Damages

Customers are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or members of their party to the vehicle interior, exterior, equipment, or accessories during the trip. Repair or replacement costs may be charged to the card on file where applicable.

Drugs & Alcohol

Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Alcohol consumption is not permitted unless specifically authorized by law and by the company for that trip type. O’Hare Taxi Chicago reserves the right to terminate service immediately if this policy is violated, and full charges may still apply.

Lost Items

O’Hare Taxi Chicago is not responsible for items left behind in the vehicle. However, reasonable efforts will be made to locate and return lost items. Return or delivery of lost items may be subject to a service or delivery fee.

Miscellaneous

O’Hare Taxi Chicago reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for safety concerns, threatening behavior, policy violations, excessive passenger count, or conditions that place the driver, passengers, or vehicle at risk. In such cases, charges may still apply.

Overages & Wait Times

Quoted fares include standard pickup service only unless otherwise stated. Additional wait time, unscheduled stops, extra stop requests, route changes, parking fees, and tolls may result in additional charges. Airport pickups may include a standard grace period depending on the reservation type, after which wait time charges may apply.

Passenger Behavior

Passengers must behave respectfully toward drivers and maintain safe conduct during the trip. Abusive language, threats, harassment, unsafe behavior, or interference with the driver may result in immediate termination of service without refund.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Locations

Customers are responsible for being ready at the scheduled pickup time and for providing accurate pickup and drop-off details. Airport pickup procedures may vary by terminal, airline, traffic conditions, airport rules, and commercial vehicle access requirements. Customers must follow driver instructions for designated pickup areas.

Seating Capacity

Each vehicle type has a maximum passenger and luggage capacity. Customers must reserve the appropriate vehicle based on passenger count and luggage needs. O’Hare Taxi Chicago may refuse service without refund if the reserved vehicle cannot safely accommodate the number of passengers or luggage presented at pickup.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicle at any time. A cleaning or odor-removal fee may be charged if this policy is violated.

Trip Updates

Customers must notify O’Hare Taxi Chicago as soon as possible of any flight changes, delays, address changes, passenger count changes, or schedule changes. Failure to provide updated trip information may affect driver dispatch, wait time, vehicle availability, and pricing.

8. Privacy

Our collection, use, sharing, and protection of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy posted on our website. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Third-party booking, mapping, analytics, communication, and payment services may process information under their own privacy policies. Do not submit sensitive information that is not reasonably needed to arrange or provide the Services.

9. Permitted Use of the Website

You may use the website and booking tools only for lawful, personal, or legitimate business reservation purposes. You may not:

  • interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the website or booking systems;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, data, or payment information;
  • submit false, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading information or reservations;
  • copy, scrape, reproduce, sell, or exploit website content except as allowed by law or with our written permission; or
  • use the Services in a way that violates applicable law or the rights or safety of another person.

10. Intellectual Property

The website and its text, graphics, photographs, logos, service names, design, and other content are owned by or licensed to O’Hare Taxi Chicago and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the website for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

11. Third-Party Platforms and Links

The Services may use or link to third-party booking, payment, mapping, airline, airport, review, or communication platforms. O’Hare Taxi Chicago does not control and is not responsible for the independent content, availability, security, or privacy practices of those third parties. Your use of a third-party platform may also be governed by that platform’s terms.

12. Delays, Interruptions, and Events Beyond Reasonable Control

We will use reasonable efforts to provide timely service, but pickup and arrival times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, airport congestion, security procedures, flight disruptions, government action, vehicle breakdowns, communications failures, labor disruptions, and other events beyond reasonable control may delay, alter, or prevent service.

When reasonably possible, we may offer a substitute driver or vehicle, adjust pickup instructions, reschedule, or cancel affected service. Any refund or charge adjustment will be determined under the reservation-specific terms, the policies above, and applicable law.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and online booking tools are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that third-party information such as flight, traffic, map, or travel data will always be complete or accurate.

Transportation Services will be provided with reasonable care consistent with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, duty, remedy, or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, O’Hare Taxi Chicago will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or Services, including missed flights or connections, loss of business, lost profits, or loss of data, when such losses were not caused by conduct for which liability cannot legally be limited.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, personal injury or property damage to the extent caused by legally actionable conduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Questions and Dispute Resolution

Before beginning a formal dispute, you and O’Hare Taxi Chicago agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue by providing a clear description of the concern and relevant reservation details. Contact us at contact@oharetaxichicago.com. This informal process does not prevent either party from seeking relief when necessary and does not shorten any non-waivable legal deadline.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable right or venue required by applicable law, legal proceedings relating to these Terms or the Services may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the “Last Updated” date. A reservation will be governed by the version presented or made available when that reservation was confirmed, unless a later change is required by law or is expressly accepted by the customer. Continued use of the website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated website-use provisions.

18. Entire Agreement; Order of Precedence

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the reservation confirmation, and any specific written terms accepted for a reservation form the agreement relating to the Services. If a reservation confirmation or specific written term directly conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific term controls for that reservation to the extent of the conflict.

19. Severability and No Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
